- Early 19th Century (1820/30) Oak Farmhouse Kitchen Table (T-444)
Early 19th Century (1820/30) Oak Farmhouse Kitchen Table (T-444)
Early 19th century (1820/30) oak farmhouse kitchen table. Reputedly made by a farm tenant from Castle Hill Estate, Filleigh with local timber. We purchased it from the family as they were giving up tenancy. Table has tapering legs connected with H stretchers, 1 large and 2 small drawers to ends. Wear to stretchers. Top is made from 4 planks of oak. Over time the planks have shrunk and have been repaired with slivers of wood and dowels. Very minimum amount of filler. It is all very tight now. Overall an amazing looking genuine antique table, strong & sturdy with legitimate repairs.
Just shy of 9ft.
